Make a record active or inactive based on when it was last updated

In the Youtube-tutorial for Dynamics 365 a consultant shows how you can make a record active or not active based on a date when the form was last updated.

It's shown at this timestamp in the video: https://youtu.be/SubfKExKOgE?t=100

If the form has been updated the last 12 months it's shown as active with a green signal-icon.

My question is how do you setup this functionality? Business rules? And how does he get the green signal icon for the record being active? Thanks in advance

I have the same question (0)

    Hi River,

You can setup such functionality with the help of the Power Automate. Based on the Modified On Date.

If the modified On is greater than Today's Date Then Change the Status of record to Active --> Inactive.

    For the 2nd question:-

you can easily add the any emoji to the option set Label value as shown in the below image.

thanks but by Power Automate, do you mean Power Apps (that can also be reached from Power Automate page)?

Because in Power Automate main page all I can see is setting up flows for automating sharepoint stuff and other unrelated things.

I am more used to the old dynamics 365 form creation that can be reached from the old dynamics settings page.

    Hi River,

You can add the green icon to field from the Power Apps.

And to Automate the Process like if the record is older than 12 months and mark that specific record to Inactive this development you can achieve via Power Automate.

    Thanks,

    Manoj Mane.

    Hi River,

You can achieve this by doing the customization.
