Dear All,

I have a request regarding to POS design change. I would love to change background color and also text color, of whole POS. I´ve installed DevExpress SkinEditor Tool, set up whole skin, save and "create assembly". I´ve exported file to Skin folder, run "9999 All Jobs" - exactly according to this manual: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj937979.aspx

And the problem is, when I run POS, I get two errors:
1. error_13000- Couldn't load all external service modules.
2. error_2 - A system error has occured. The application will close.

Can you give me advice?

Hi,

Error 13000 is a nightmare.

a. Check in Channel DB our custom Skin is Ok.

SELECT POSSKINNAME, * from RetailVisualProfile

b. Make sure that this problem is related to the new Skin. Return to initial configuration of visual profile and verify that the same problem occurs.

c. Another hypothesis. Maybe this error is related to the version used the DevExpress, with the release of its Retail-AX-POS. You may be missing some .dll. Double Check the compatibility of the version of the DevExpress.

AX for Retail 2012 R3 Post CU9: 14.2.107.0 (DevExpressSignedNoAPTCA-14.2.107.exe)

AX for Retail 2012 R3: 11.2.111.0

AX for Retail 2012 R2: 11.2.111.0 (DXperienceSignedNoAPTCA-11.2.111.exe)

AX for Retail 2012 (Feature Pack): 9.2.110.0

AX for Retail 2009: 9.2.109.0

Hi Miro,

The issue can be in DevExpress itself as described here: www.devexpress.com/.../T151040
What DevExpress version did you use to create the Skin?

I tried to create POS skin with DevExpress 12.2.6 and tested it on AX 2012 R3 CU9 POS - everything worked well.
Please, try to use this Skin in your POS to check if you receive the same error. Link to download skip (zip archive): drive.google.com/.../view

Skin name for AX is MyTestForMiroSkin
