Trying to figure out how to easily change opportunity / quote inline product's unit

Hello - so I'm trying to figure out how to make this doable. I'm not finding any solutions to be able to add the product's unit to an opportunity or quote where you can easily change it in the inline edit view.

I have a price list with products in it. Example If I have Team Supervisor as a product and I have two price list items in there using a Standard Hour unit and the other with a Overtime Hour unit. Each has a different price of course.

When I add products to the products view in an opportunity or quote - I can't find a way to have an easy way to switch this in the inline edit view. I can do this if I actually go into the product line and use the actual edit form for the product line - but not on the inline view.

Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.

Hi johnny,

Unfortunately, Unit field is not editable in the editable grid of inline edit view, which is by design.

So it is impossible to edit Unit field in the inline edit view.

I you would edit Opportunity Line in bulk quickly, I would recommend you export Opportunity Line and edit Unit field in the excel, then import excel to D365.
