Dear all,

Do you know if it is possible insert a SO line writhing the EAN13 code in the AX2012R3?

I've setup the bar code in the relased product form as true to Display, Scanning and Print,

I've tried to insert a new line by writing the EAN13 instead the item code, but the system shows the error message "You are not authorized to access table ‘Catch weight setup’ (PdsCatchWeightItem). Contact your system administrator."

You can only enter Item number in the Item number field. So, as far as I know, it's not possible to create sales lines by entering EAN 13 code in any field. That would require a customization.

Hi,

First of all thank you for the anwer.

I've created a new sales order and did write the EAN13 code in the item number field of the line. I didn't found any EAN13 field...

Could you provide more detailed information how you "tried to insert a new line by writing the EAN13 instead of item code"?
