Possible to self-implement Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service?

Good evening,

I have a very general question: if one is generally fit in such systems and able to read and follow the excellent documentation Microsoft provides, do you think it is possible to self-implement Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise and Customer Service?

Or would you rather suggest that a partner does this? And if so, how much time is needed for a minimum implementation from scratch without any data or structure to import? (green field approach)

Thanks

Pete

the full Dynamics is the same as the trial minus the dummy data.

If you already customized the trial you are on a right path, moving the customizations (so the concept of solutions) is something that you may need to understand or try before get it right.

    Thanks for your anwer Guido.

I actually implemented most of the things I want to do in the trial version, having a SAP developer background, this is almost childsplay :)

What I am a bit afraid of though is the initial setup - like doing something wrong like setting up security roles or the like.

Or maybe I am assuming incorrectly that a fully licensed Dynamics is somehow different, more blank than the trial version minus the dummy customer data?

    Thank you

    Pete

if possible or not depends on your skills, you can always start a trial here https://dynamics.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-365-free-trial/

and on youtube there are several videos explaining how to customize Dynamics 365

    hope it helps
