You can use resources for this. One of our client is using this and works perfectly fine. In the resource you can set the VAT Groups and Product Posting Groups.
Have you explored using Resources? They are not considered "stocked" items but can be used throughout to bill a customer for a non-tangible item. (ie Support as in your example) Posting setups support GL Account mapping through the Gen Product Posting Group and Tax Groups.
So I will wait for some more anwers...
If not received, I believe that Service Items caanot be created as in SAP Business One and
as you have explained Mohana, GL is the only resort.
No, It seems Taxation functionality is not added for Non Stock Items
Tax...
I couldn't find out how to assign service tax code towards this...
Can we do anything for it?
