The first hyperlink in an email being tracked in D365 is cutting off the rest of the email.

Posted on by 10

We noticed this morning that the emails being tracked in D365 are being cutoff by the first hyperlink in the email.

An example of this would be an email saying "Hello, please visit www.test.com for the best information out there" comes into Outlook, which after being tracked in D365 simply says "Hello, please visit".

This has only started happening in the last week it seems. No changes have been made to the system that should be causing this.

Has anyone else noticed this behaviour?

    Hi partner,

I tried in my instance and everything worked well. It's really strange.

So please check the following points.

1.Did you add any custom rules like workflow, business rules or js code when creating new email in D365.

2.Create a new email in D365 with hyperlink and check if this issue still exists.

3.Check if there is any rules in Outlook which may intercept the content after hyperlink.

If this issue still exists, please raise a ticket to Microsoft for more professional help.

    Regards,

    Leo
