customized entity 1:N mapping

I created two entities through data import. Now I created 1:N mapping between the two. It looked like they didn't map correctly, not sure what else I have missed. I should put the mapping field name in the highlighted fields?

You need to enter the

Display Name and Name.

You can also just create a Lookup from within the form by adding a new lookup field instead of going to Relationships.

I found the reason, every time, it creates a new field in the child entity highlighted as below, so the parent field maps to the newly created child field, how can I let it map to an existing child field?

The lookup would use only the Primary field.
