from this link (technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699671.aspx) it seems that 2016 is now supported
*Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Enterprise with Cumulative Update 2 (CU2)
*Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Standard with Cumulative Update 2 (CU2)
*Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Developer, with Cumulative Update 2 (CU2) (for non-production use only)
which is good.
If possible I would like to have clarity on exactly which versions are supported
From support.microsoft.com/.../sql-server-2016-build-versions
SQL Server 2016 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and cumulative update (CU) builds
Cumulative update name Build version Knowledge Base number Release day
CU1 13.0.4411.0 KB3208177 January 18, 2017
SP1 13.0.4001.0 KB3182545 November 16, 2016
SQL Server 2016 cumulative update (CU) builds
Cumulative update name Build version Knowledge Base number Release day
CU4 13.0.2193.0 KB3205052 January 18, 2017
CU3 13.0.2186.6 (latest build) KB3205413 November 16, 2016
CU2 13.0.2164.0 KB3182270 September 22, 2016
CU1 13.0.2149.0 KB3164674 July 25, 2016
Does the crm support link that mentions "*Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Enterprise with Cumulative Update 2 (CU2)" mean that from the above builds only the RTM CU2 can be used or does it mean that the ones more recent e.g. SP1 CU1 are also supported?
