Look up more records button in new D365 UI Unified Interface?

The look up more records button is no longer available in the new unified interface across all entities with a look up field in their forms. We need a way for users to easily look up and differentiate between records if they have similar names in order to pick the correct one. (Products with similar names, accounts, contacts, events etc) when filling in an entity form.

The pop up lookup record window in the classic web interface achieved this, users are able to very quickly view and list all results and sort via columns to ensure you pick the correct record. The new UI just lists results, you have to keep scrolling to load all results and also no ability to sort them. This can be vary difficult if you are faced with more than ~10 results which is the norm for our organization

Is it possible to enable/ reinstate the 'look up more records' button in the new UI, if not what are the other alternative options? The key thing is to be able to view all results from the lookup and sort them.

Running on Version 1710 (9.1.0.24642) 2020 Release wave 2 enabled.

    Hello Oswald,

On the WebClient interface that was a dialog and dialogs don't work on UCI, which means that on UCI you will not see the dialog.

If it appears more than 10 records to the user, why don't you filter the search more by crossing information that is on the form?

You can try to do that with Related Records Filtering
