Hi. The user has created shipments in AX 7. To pick items, he has created work against shipments. On confirming the work, the items were picked. But they are showing as picking in the shipment against them. Can someone please guide as how to resolve this issue.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi fatihgork,

we have following issue:  work is created but then someone removed value for Final shipping location in Warehouse management parameters. Now work is closed but picked quantity results 0. Work cannot be reversed (it's a transfer order); quantity cannot be reduced as in the system there isn't picked qty and load cannot be shipped.

Any suggestion how to fix this?

    Hi Ruben,

That's an old thread, it might be better for you to open a new one :)

Please check your final shipping location type. Only if your last put line uses a location that matches with this parameter in "Location type" then your transactions should get "picked" and load should get "loaded" at the time when work is closed.

Since you are using containerization you might need to check packing location type parameter to see if its the same location you are using in your work as well.  (I wanted to share a quick reply and couldn't remember the containerization process at the moment sorry.)

    Hi Fatima,

Kindly share the status of the work. The work once completed changes to closed.

Also do you use manual packing for shipments? Do you use work to put packed goods to shipping locations?

What are the status of the work, shipment and the load? As mentioned by Tom they should be closed for work and loaded for shipment and load.

It seems that your work is not completed while you try to confirm shipment.

Kindly share more info for better clarity of the issue

    Hello Fatima,

could you explain in more detail what exactly is the problem with that load? Generally, when the work is fully executed,

    - the work status is "Closed"

    - the shipment status is "Loaded"

    - the load status is "Loaded"

The outbound shipment confirmation should be possible when the work is closed and the items are stored on the defined baydoor location. Maybe you can check that first and also provide a screenshot for the problem?

    Best regards

    Thomas
