    Hi DaxCrm,

Yes you can use new tables in this framework. You can use the entity wizard to create the base for a new entity.

Some information can be found on the next page: technet.microsoft.com/.../jj933277.aspx

    Thanks Andre! that helps!

Please let me know if there is a way of checking duplicates during import.

    Hi DaxCrm,

You have to add logic to find duplicates and ignore them. Would it be possible to cleanup the file in upfront or check afterwards?

    Hi Andre,

Thanks for your response. The issue is not with one file having duplicates... The thing is multiple sales reps do the data import (files coming from different sources) and there is a good probability of duplicates arising. The users will not be able to cleanup data before uploading to AX. It would be good if AX can alert of duplicates during import....

    Hi DaxCrm,

In this case you will need additional logic during import or a good cleanup utility for after the import. Note that you can merge Address book records, but not when two records do have the same role (e.g. customer or prospect) in the same company.
