Hello,
Created KB article and Approved, When trying to publish a window poped up for publish option even after clicking publishing not completed.
Also, Unable to search the Article, Is it because of Unpublished article.

Check the "Publish Article" privilege of your security role.
Also check that you are getting same issue from System Admin Security role.
