Any Frontend module to see an ODATA API list in F&O account

Posted on by 72
Hello,

I am new to F&O development and targeting to create an app for posting sales orders via Odata API.

In BC, I know a module called /web services/  for ODATA list like below,

so my question is, if I want to see my default ODATA URLs then is there any way to find it out in the F&O account? If yes then where in the F&O module?

    Hi Rushita,

You should be using customersV3 as the others are obsolete which means they will be removed in the future

    Thanks,

    Ok, thanks I get it.

One more question, I can see 3 options customer, customerV2, and customerV3.

So, does it all give you the same data? and what is the purpose of 3 different entity options to get customers?

    Hi Ruchita,

if you call this URL viaPostman:   YourEnvironmentUrl/data  then you'll be able to get all the entities you can call via odata

So if you want to call let's say CustomersV3, then you call this URL: YourEnvironmentUrl/data/CustomersV3

OR in F&O, go to Organization Administration - Setup - Office Integration - Excel workbook designer  where you'll see all public entities (it will show you the label of the entity and the public entity name)
So here the public entity name is CustomerV3 -- the public Collection name you will need will normally be a plural which is CustomersV3

    Thanks,
    Layan Jweihan
