Hello All,
When I want to search any data on subgrid searchbox it was working at classic views but not working at UCI. I don't know why. My project's Onprimese. You can see pictures ;
By the way, How Can I change search properties for subgrid search box?
Thanks/Regards.
Hi Onur,
You need configure ‘quick find view’ for the entity that sub-grid used.
It means that if you want to search any field value in the sub-grid search box, you must add the field to the ‘quick find view’.
Go Settings > Customization > Customize the system > Entities > Address > Views.
Open the ‘quick find customer address’ view and click on ‘Add Find Columns’ to add fields you want to search:
Save and publish it.

Hi Leah,
Thank you for your support. I already configured quick find view. I'm trying to run my custom tab. This isn't associated view. When I want to find any data on my custom tabs subgrid, It isnt working. I think so this problem for custom tab. Could it be working incorrectly on custom tabs? I added pictures.

Custom Tab :
I wantt to use custom tab.
Thanks / Regards.
From you screenshot, the view you selected is ‘Active Address Informations’ in the Custom Tab.
Can you ensure the record you search (SAP Code is 90008985) is in the Active Address Informations view?
if it doesn’t exist in current view, it’s general that you can’t search it.
SAP code field was already available on my active address information screen. This feature works in the classic CRM screen, but the UCI does not work.
Thanks,regards.
I don’t mean that SAP Code field is in the view or not.
What I mean by this is whether the address record that sap code 90008985 exists in this form or not?
You can go ‘Advanced Find’ to check it:
Clicking ‘Results’ button after setting condition:
if it exists in the view, you will see it.otherwise, no record can be showed.
I checked from advanced find. Record is available. I think so stems from the problem UCI. There isn't any problem to Classic views. Please follow pictures;
So Thanks for your support :)

We are experiencing the same issue. Where you able to resolve that?
I would assume, that the problem i our old CRM OnPrem Version, but i am not sure and dont want to update, without information if the problem will get solved that way.
The problem is not caused by older versions. Unfortunately I had to turn off the search screen in the grid. I couldn't find the solution.
i had some more minutes to look on that. I found out, that usage of wildcards is helpful.
An example: i have a subgrid of contacts on a form and i configured firstname as searchable.
On Classic ui i can search for "Frank" and will find a proper record.
On UCI, i dont find a record, when i search for "Frank", but i find the correct record when i search for "*Frank*".
Normally the search with wildcard should not show other records, cause "Frank" is the whole information in firstname field. No char before or after that name is in the database... but whyever the search with wildcards finds the record correctly, but without it is not found on UCI, but only on classic ui.
