When I try to publish vouchers from Excel to a Project Expense Journal on Dynamics I have this message: Matching record for the read only data source 'ResourceView' does not exist.

Hi! I need to publish vouchers from excel to Dynamics using a General Journal (Project Expense Journal), and I can import everything except the Resource ID, field that is present on the journal but is not possible to predefine anywhere.

I have to clariffy that I won´t publish information directly in a Hours Project Journal, it has to be done by General Journal.

If someone has a resolution or a guidance for this issue will be very grateful.

Hi Silvia,

ResourceId is related to the worker. Its available under Organization administration >> Resources >> Resource >> In this form you will have worker name against the resource id.

Hello

I have to clarify that the ID resource do exist. I know that is related to workers and we have all the data on Dynamics 365, but for some reason the excel don´t allow to publish this field

Okay, so the error says that Resource id you are giving in the excel doesn't match with table value. Just double check the ResourceId values given in the excel.
