I am working on a client project which are experiencing extremely slow performance processing large qty's of serial tracked released products on both the mobile device & F&O client when confirming shipments.
The scenario is LP's with a qty of over 500 eaches, they are serial tracked. And have tracking dimension serial number - active & physical stock. Reservation serial number, set as the lowest reservation hierachy underneath the LP.
Scenarios are:
ASN receipt taking 3 minutes per pallet to process the LP putaway.
Transfer Order issue & receipt taking 3 - 4 minutes when picking full pallet 500 eaches for serialised items.
Confirm shipment taking 10 minutes per Transfer Order.
I am assuming this is because of the number of transactions F&O is having to post because of the serial tracking dimension.
For normal /non serialised/ items the performance is fine as expected and I am not experiencing any issues at all.
Has anybody experienced this before? I have an open ticket with MS but just wanted to see if anybody has any experience with this issue.
