When NAV 2013 and Outlook are open, there is no dynamic synchronization completed for emails between outlook and NAV.
For example : If I receive an email in Outlook, the “inbox” in the Microsoft Outlook add-in on the Role Center does not update. To update the “inbox” in the Microsoft Outlook add-in, the user must close and reopen NAV.
However, this is not true for the calendar appointments and the Tasks. For these two synchronizations, if I create an appointment or a task in Outlook, it automatically sync’ed to NAV without having to reopen NAV.
