Hi:

In the Cronus sample company, I was trying to create a new Project (Job) but was having difficulty doing so.

I was "told" that I could not fill in the required Dimension fields as I "may not have access" to them.

Is there security to Dimension Codes and Values, in Business Central? I didn't think that there was.

As far as I know, no, unless it is the Security Filter feature. But I haven't seen this warning.

HI John,

All records can be controlled in Business Central via Permission assigned to users.

If you don't have permission to dimension data, then you will not be able to access dimension data.
