Office 365 synchronization with ax through citrix

Hi all

I wanted to know the prereqisite to use office 365 in ax when used via citrix.

Generally smtp info and outlook is required when used locally..when used on citrix we get below error - could not communicate to ms outlook client. Pls help on this.

    Hi Shri,

    Citrix is a solution which does have its own settings preventing correctly working AX environments if not setup correctly. If there is an issue you have to monitor network traffic and review all kinds of firewall or proxy settings. I don't have experience with networking, so cannot help you further. Have you checked if Outlook can be accessed by other software running under Citrix?

    Shri, on Citrix Server is installed Microsoft Outlook?

    The errors say that AX try to communicate with Microsoft Outlook.

    Finally, through which process you are sending the email?

    Hi Denis,

    They are using office 365 so I think outlook should be installed on citrix. Will confirm once again.I am using SMTP server to send mails. It is not configured for my id but their user should not face this error when they will try , right? Only SMTP server configuration & installation of outlook on citrix server will suffice?
