Hello,
Can you please use the XrmToolBox (https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/) with the Early Bound Generator and put a screen shot of the configuration and result?
In addition what is the CRM version?
this worked one time without the context stuff, but not since. Now won't even work without context.
Can you please put a screen shot of the error and the configuration of the tool/plugin?
Both excellent suggestions. The CRM dll is the same as the environment. Tried the plugin route from XRM Toolbox, which I admit I had not considered, but so far no luck, still playing with that a bit.
Thanks for your response. Have been through the link above pretty thoroughly and yes I can get to the WSDL.
this error means your PC/laptop can not reach to relevant organization.. refer below article for example commands for this..
docs.microsoft.com/.../create-early-bound-entity-classes-code-generation-tool
I suggest first check if you can reach to WSDL in the browser by putting following link (replace your org name, port number , http/https based on your current environment)
myorg.crm.com:555/.../Organization.svc
Hello,
Make sure the CRM DLL used by the tool is the same as the CRM environment you are connecting to generate the entities and service context.
Why don't you try the XrmToolbox and use the EarlyBoundGenerator plugin in it.
How to fix
url does return a wsdl when I plug it in the browser
