There is a bug in CU0, which may be causing this.
To fix this, edit report 81, and set Temporary property for DataItem "Budget Buffer" to No.
This is fixed in CU1, I think.
I am having the same issue - did you ever manage to get this to work?
Hi John,
I'm not using Rapid Start to import Budget. I use Export Budget, then fill the figures and save the excel worksheet. On budget Screen, use Import Budget. But the figures are not showing in NAV and no error message was report.
Thank
Tunji
Are you using Rapid Start to import? If so you will need to select Apply Data, on the Functions button of the Edit - Config. Package Card. After you have imported your Excel doc.
Hello,
From your request it is not clear how do you import the figures and if you are getting any errors. Try following these steps:
Create Budgets: msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh931428(v=nav.90).aspx
Import/Export Budgets: msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh928285(v=nav.90).aspx
Some Tips&Tricks: dynamicsnavfinancials.com/.../tips-and-tricks-for-a-flawless-budget-load-in-nav
Can you attached excel sheet and NAV Budget Screen just get an idea what is wrong?
Hi Indika,
Thanks for the suggested solution. I followed all these steps too, the same way you suggested but when I went back to the budget in the system, the figures are not uploaded. I think probably there is something I need to do again. I have done these several but same result - figures are not uploaded.
Regards
Tunji
Hi
Are you getting any error while uploading the Budge? if not try below methods and see anythign you have done wrong, you can do it on below order
1. Create Budget From NAV
2. Go To Action and Export then assume you are trying import 2016 budget
Start Date = 01/01/2016
No of Periods = 12
Period Length = 1M
Export it.
This will create 12 Month Budget for 2016 Dates when you are in excel you can update the figures for the budget and save and close it after that go to NAV and go to edit new budget and import from excel you can have option of Replace or Add it will work fine.
Thanks
Indika
