Dear All,

I've got a trouble here, hope you can help me.

I'm just about to import "Purchase Line" using data migration in nav classic, but the result is not as expected.

Here is the error

I've tried to change in excel on "Type"/"Document Type" columns become "Item" or "2" the program read it as the same thing as "Item" but the error result still same.

Hope you can help me, have a nice day

    Hi Wahyudi,

What is exactly the error (as I do not see any error message or something alike)? What are you expecting?

    Hi Luc,

I'm gonna import my data using data migration for table "Purchase Line"

but the result is this "The value ,G/L Account,Item,,Fixed Asset,Charge (Item) for SELECTSTR parameter no. 2 is not valid."

The data I used is from export data migration and without edited by anyone ..

I'm expecting everything is gonna fine, but I dunno why it's error ..

Maybe I'm going to use data port instead data migration..

Did you try importing one line ? do you get same error. Try exporting the data from the current company and then use that excel file to replace with this data.

I use the dataport, since I didn't find any solution ..

hope this won't happened again in future

    Maneesha De Silva,

I'm really glad for your help until now, but I already give up and import using dataport and this method were success.

the error that come is like the question I ask:

The value ,G/L Account,Item,,Fixed Asset,Charge (Item) for SELECTSTR parameter no. 2 is not valid.
