How to get email notifications for any workflow approval!!!

Dear Experts - I config the email parameters in ax 2012 R3 to get email notifications. I use this Link to setup email notifications, but I'm not getting any approval notifications. Could any one tell me how to get approval notifications when workflow user is submitted for approval..

you are on right track, bit prior to that you need to make sure, if your ax is really able to sendEmail. you may use any sample code to test email sending from your AX

you may use SysMailer (class) for testing purpose; many examples can be found on search engine such as google.

I have parsed briefly through the tutorial you mentioned and noticed it is about setting up the emailing system. The next item is to make sure you have properly configured the workflow to send emails on Approving. In order to do so, you need to open the workflow configuration, and select notification for Approval task. Let me know if you've done that or if you need assitance.

I can see that one entry is Failed. Can you confirm that the SMTP server is working properly.

Waiting means it's trying to send it, but it Fails. Notice you already have two failed emails, in the previous screenshot you had one.

Check your settings. I see you are using smtp office365 without any authentication. This can't be right. Please check your settings again.

I already try with authentication and without. but the status is same as waiting..
