RE: Dynamic 365 layout in construction softwares

If your model references external files, such as the following, you'll need to create a ZIP file containing the model and the files it references to import the model:
- Textures (PNG, TGA, etc.)
- Materials (MTL)
- Other parts
Supported File formats
- FBX (version 7.5 or earlier)
- OBJ
- SKP (version 18 or earlier)
- JT (versions 8 and 9)
- STP, STEP (versions AP203 and AP214)
- GLTF, GLB
o Version 2.0
** The ZIP file should only contain the above file formats and their dependent external files.
3DSsMAX does export FBX files, that can be imported to Layout
AutoCAD is not currently supported today, but we are working on adding native support.
Sketchup is natively support and can work with a few exceptions. Transparent and Tiled Textures may encounter so issues. We are working on improving that experience.
Additionally, we would love to understand additional scenarios where Layout is useful in Civil engineering.
