Unified Interface - Phone Call quick create open\closed

In the Unified Interface Sales Hub app, when we use the + button to add a phone call on a contact, the quick create form opens.  After the user fills out the form, the phone call is left open.  In the old UI it was closed when using the quick form.

So now the user doesn't want to take the extra steps to wait for the timeline to refresh to close the call, instead we want a close option on the quick create phone call form but when I edit the form, I don't really see an option to do that.  There was a status reason field but it only had the option of open.

    On top of the workflow answers, you could also disable the quick create and use the full form with the 'mark as complete' button as the save.

    Seems annoying that it works the opposite of the old UI and there's no easy way to change it other that a new field and workflow.  I'll just deal with it as is for now.  Also, noticed there's no easy way to drop the 30 minute default call duration down to something more reasonable like 1-5 minutes unless there is and I'm missing it?  Thanks

    There are few different ways to achieve what you want, but the first one that comes to mind is creating a Workflow (can be made as real-time) that triggers on creation and changes status to Completed/Closed (You can add more conditions to workflow if you want to filter out certain scenarios). This way user does not have to take any extra action.

    There no existing field in the quick create form to close the phone call. You can creare new Two-options field 'Close Phone call'' in the quick create form.

    Once this field 'Close Phone call'' is changed to YES. using the BR/Workflow/PowerAutomation(Anyone of them could do) to update the phone call status to 'Closed'.
