Purchase agreements and purchase orders

Hi

I had created a Purchase agreement with Value commitment.  But i could able to create Purchase Orders from this Purchase agreements a value greater than the agreement value.  Will system allow to have PO value  greater than agreement value ?

Please clarify

    Hi K.Subramanian,

    The agreement can indeed be exceeded. It can be used for multiple purposes. You can agree on a minimum commitment or also a maximum. The real agreement and intention should be checked manually.

    As long as field "Max is enforced" (part of line fields) is set to "No" then you can create purchase orders totaling higher value than the actual agreement line value.
