Hello, Could someone advise me how to use SMTP server instead of Outlook client when users want to send an invoice through the print->e-mail recipient function? In AX 2012 there is an option in e-mail settings to set to "non outlook clinet system"

Thanks for replay but in all those posts (some links do not work) is not exactly what I looking for.
Please take in mind that this is for AX2009.
The second thing, that I don't want to create batch jobs but to ensure that then a user use function: print->e-mail recipient AX use SMTP servers instead of using MAPI client.
Maybe I cannot or don't understand some things correctly, and therefore looking for help or advice here.

I checked with one of our experts; and he stated:
This is not possible with OOB code but it would be a customization they could write.
If you are needing assistance in customizing, hopefully someone in the forum will be able to assist.
