POS statement Posting problem AX2012

Hello,

I am facing an issue in Retail statement posting. The issue is when I am trying to calculate the statement, it is not calculating wither with shift or with date and time. But in retail store transactions the status is showing none for the same transactions. It is happening only for 15th June 2016. I have posted yesterdays transaction for the same store successfully. What could be the reason, any idea?

In the open statement window, I can even see the number of unposted transactions. But in the same window under transactions nothing is showing.

Thanks in advance,

Dhanoop R.Warrier

    Hi Dhanoop,

If you're not getting any error while calculating statement and process getting completed without any statement lines. It means either you've already posted the statement for the day, or you have already calculated the statement but not  posted.

    Hi Manvendra,

Thanks for your input. It reminded me to check in the inventory transaction of those products. Actuaully I forgot to check it there. I can see that there is already a retail statement is calculated for those products but I can't find that statement either in open statement or posted statements. Is there any method to search for a statement?

    Thanks,

    Dhanoop R.Warrier

    Hi Dhanoop,

RetailTransaction* tables have 'StatementId' fields (reference to statement they are included into).
Could you, please, check if your transactions have this field empty or not?

In old AX versions, sometimes 'statementCode' field can have 0 value, that can prevent including transactions into statement.

If you calculate statement by 'shift', you also need to make sure, shift has been closed + all transactions were transferred from store database to AX.

    Regards,
    Oksana

    Hi Dhanoop.

we have had that in the past where a statement was calculated for transactions, but then the statement had been deleted and not cleared from the particular statement. if you look at those transactions then you would probably see them marked against the non existent statement.

    Hi Oksana,

Thank you very much for your input. It helped me to solve the issue. In my case there was already statement id but it was not seen either under posted statements or open statements. But in RetailTransactionTable I could find the statement id. I have deleted that id and posted. It worked.

    Thanks once again.

    Hi BA,

Thank you very much for your answer suggestion. It has shed some light on my issue and I could solve it. In my case I could see the staementid inside RetailTransactionTable and I have deleted that statementid and tried to post it. It worked for me. I have deleted the reserved stock from InventTrans as well.

Once again thank you very much.

If you can see the statement No. in then open RetailStatementJour table. filter PostingDate field as blank.

Thus you can see all statement which are not posted. On Form make sure there's no any filter applied.

    Thanks
