    Hi,

this is standard behaviour, not a bug. On sales or purchase lines the Description is tied to the item, so when you pick an item it fills the description from the Item card, and if you change it then move off the line in a way that revalidates the item, it pulls the original description back. That is why it reverts on tab or enter.
The usual cause is that the No. field gets revalidated, and validating the item rewrites the description. So the change you typed is overwritten by the item default again.

To actually keep a different description on the line, change it after the item is set and avoid re-triggering the No. validation, just edit Description and move to a different field, not back through No. If it still reverts, the cleaner way is to use the second description line or a comment line for the extra text, that does not get overwritten.
Where are they changing it, on a sales document line or somewhere else? And is it standard BC or is there a customization on that line? That changes the fix.

Glad to help - follow up if anything is unclear.
