How are affected Tables identified on Rename()?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi!

i did a Rename() on a table's Primary Key.

In the SQL Profiler i saw, that all tables, which where affected by this rename, where found and updated automatically.

How are these tables identified by the System as we do not have "real" Table Relations?

Maybe you have a source of Documentation i haven't found yet.

Thank you and regards!

    Rename works on all fields that are related to the renamed key. NAV maintains logical relation between fields.
