Batch will not release journal entry. Status indicates Balance. How can I get the batch to release?
The first place to check is the SL Eventlog folder, to see if SL recorded any meaningful information when trying to release the batch. A stray GLTran record could cause the batch to hang up, if it has the batch information but is missing key fields (account, subaccount, etc.) Depending on what you find, the fix could be to correct or remove a record from this batch.
If you don't have SQL access, you could copy the grid with the GL journal entry details, delete the batch from the SL interface, and paste the rows in a new journal entry.
