*This post is locked for comments
Yes off course. Just you need to install Citrix Application on Win 2008 R2 server and then Install AX 2012 Client on it and publish it.
How your user will access it. User can access through IE.
Hi Ahmed, hope you also faced this issue of not able to install citrix on win 2008 R2. Getting error message APPCRASH while installing.
We tried uninstall citrix and then installed AX 2012 client which is worked fine.
Escalated this issue to citrix, not getting proper support from citrix.

From Microsoft Dynamic system requirements web pages, is Says support Windows7 and windows Vista
Somebody help? or we need to use XenDekstop 7 VM hosted App? ??
What is the error you're getting?
I have AX 2012 on XenApp 6.5, Windows 2008 R2 SP1 (Standard and Enterprise) and have none of these issues.
When you are installing the client on Citrix XenApp, make SURE that you install all of the required prerequisites. That and install all of the client components.
I have this on both virtual and physical hardware.
Thanks MARTYH
It appears that this problem is cause by customer's own antivirus that block the ax installation components.
Now everything is fine.
Thanks!!
Shall we have citrix in AOS server itself, does it cause any problem?
Be aware that if you are running the Citrix desktop environment some function keys of AX are not working because Citrix uses these for other purposes. In this way it is not compatible.
We have Citrix Xenapp 7, AX DB server, App server and web server all on Windows 2012 and seem to have overall speed and performance issues. Looking at server stats, everything looks fine but AX runs relatively slow... 3-7 second screen refreshes typical. Talking to outside visitors who see the system and have used AX before, they notice the slowness. Any ideas? We are doing AX suggested DB tuning activities.
