Content Blocks pulling in Meta tags when used in Emails or Templates

Recently, when creating a Content Block and then pulling it into a Marketing Email or Email Template, the Block's meta tags are also pulled when previously this did not occur? Please advise on how I can make this stop. Below is a sample of my Content Block code.

    Hi,

I haven't found any official instructions for not displaying meta tags for content blocks.

If they are not pulled into the Email, how is the content block going to maintain their appearance?

If you are referring to the editable status of the Content Block in HTML, you can set it with the option “Protected”.

The content block will be shown as noneditable if the option is set as Yes.

Here is the documentation about the attribute - data-protected="true".

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

Styles are maintained when pulled into Emails because they are applied via inline. To my knowledge, meta tags should only be within the head tag and not within the body of the HTML email. Below is an example of the extra meta tags that are pulled in with the Content Block. My question is why are these meta tags being pulled in? I have been working with Dynamics and Content Blocks for months now and this is something that recently started to happen.

    Hi,

May I know what is the code you have provided to illustrate? It should be the code of the content block in the HTML of an email, which still contains the meta.

Have you kept some of the HTML from the previous email with the content block and no meta?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
