Bulk Delete Records Fails

Hi There,

We are trying to delete c. 9k contact records as they have no contact details and no activities connected to them. We can't use the OOTB bulk delete as we need to define the search / filters to check for the existence of related records (Activities) so have been using the Bulk Delete tool (by Andy Popkin) and Bulk Data Updater tool (by Jonas Rapp) to remove the records identified by a view.

These have worked OK for the most part, but both tools refuse to delete the last 6 - 700 records from the associated view result list.

Is there something we might have missed in using these tools (they seem pretty straightforward) or is there a trick to deleting the last few hundred records?

Hi David,

What happens when you take one of the records you can't delete en remove them manually through the interface of CRM?

That should atleast give you insight in the error. Let me know if you have more information.
