GP10SP5  I deployed the excel reports and the connections and both were successful but they do not show in the nav area. Any ideas?

Are you able to browse out to them and open them in the network path you specified on the deployment?

Hi Matt, this is on a dev box so I deployed them locally on the C:\ drive, I deployed them to the same directory as GP (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\ExcelReports\).  I can open each companies folder and see all the sub folders and the .odc & .xlsx files.  I even made sure Users have full control on the ExcelRerports folder and still they do not display anywhere in GP

Maybe they expect the UNC path?  I will test this.

I don't have the same version and build to test as you but I tested this on GP 2015 R2 and I deployed the reports to the same path as you.  I did notice that the Excel Reports did not show up until I fully logged out and back in to GP.

I'm not sure if this is a version issue or still some type of permission issue.  If the UNC path doesn't work, maybe try exporting them out to just the C:/ instead of under program files.  I've run in to some weird permission issue before with dropping stuff under Program Files.

This is what my Reporting Tools Setup looks like:

Hopefully someone else can add some more insight.

ok, created a folder on a network server, used the unc path in  both deployments, connection and reports, I checked the folder and all companies are listed and within each company are all the subfolders with the odc and xlsx files, both were reported as being successful, logged out of GP and back in and....still do not see the excel reports anywhere.

    I did find this: support.microsoft.com/.../949524

Check Q10.  Try the Administration Pane under Other Reports.

It almost looks like the full functionality of viewing them as separate modules wasn't added until GP 2010.

looked there...no joy.  Tried creating folders in different locations.  Each time the deploy reports all successful but excel reports are nowhere to be found in GP.
