Hi to all,

I have a sub-grid to Connection entity on Opportunity form and when I try to add a new connection

the following quick view form shows up:
focused on User entity.

But when I change the view of the sub-grid, and try to add a new connection the new form shows up:

How can I control this behavior? There isn't any quick view form on this entity.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

    According to the official documentation.
Subgrid properties for model-driven app main forms in Power Apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

When adding a new record, the Quick Create form for the target entity is shown first. If there is not the Quick Create Form, then the main form is shown.

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li

This 'quick view form' it is not actual a quick view, as it writes at the top Lookup Records, and not Quick View Form etc. But it opens like a quick view at the right of the screen.
I have added the same sub-grid to the form, to show related records from Connections. When I use the All Sales Team Member form, the preview of the subgrid test_connections is shown as below, and from the form it opens Lookup Records. At the Sales Team subgrid, which is the same as test_connection related entity, I use another view, but the preview shows a No Data Available message and when I click  New Connection from the form it opens the Main new page for Connections entity.

The CRM don’t allow us to create ‘Quick Create Form’ for the Connection entity as seen below due to the disabled setting and we cant enable either.

So this is the reason why , when we try to add the new Connection, main form shows up.

To conclude we can only use the main form of Connection entity when creating records from the sub grid.

    Hope this helps.
