unretrieved field value

A new custom field has been added to a table in dynamics ax when the field is used in a form, field unretrieved value problem is faced. How can this problem resolved ?

    I have seen the same behavior when the underlying database has not yet been synchronized with the database. Please make sure the database has been synchronized.

    Tommy is correct.

    but also on the form in the AOT do a restore.

    finally in some cases also remove user settings on the form

    Thank you all for your replies.

    I tried what mentioned above but the problem is not resolved.  when the DB is checked the field exists and it has data.

    Then my guess would be a cache issue. Try "Refresh Elements" and "Refresh Data" in this dialog:

    twitter.com/.../1

    If that doesn't work, try restart client.

    If that doesn't work, try close client and delete all AUC-files under "%appdata%\..\Local\" and start the client.

    If that doesn't work... let us know.

    Surprisingly I got same issue today, I fixed it  from  clicking on Aot  Tools Menu ==> caches==> Refresh Elements.  Close the client and open again.
