A new custom field has been added to a table in dynamics ax when the field is used in a form, field unretrieved value problem is faced. How can this problem resolved ?

If that doesn't work, try restart client.
If that doesn't work, try close client and delete all AUC-files under "%appdata%\..\Local\" and start the client.
If that doesn't work... let us know.

Besides all the solution that have been mentioned, this behavior of unretrieved can also occur when you place a field in a grid that holds other fields where a group by is acting on. An example is the WorkflowStatus form that relies on the WorkflowStatusForm class (setRangeFilter method) to group the fields in the grid.
Hi I had this problem and I had to restart my AOS before it was resolved.
Please restart your AOS. It should solve your issue.
Dick, you have just helpded me resolve problem I have been fighting for a whole day. Thanks a lot.
Surprisingly I got same issue today, I fixed it from clicking on Aot Tools Menu ==> caches==> Refresh Elements. Close the client and open again.
