Accrual Schedule for Sickness

We would like to set up an accrual schedule for sickness leave based on a rolling 12 month in Dynamics HR.

There' is a field called 'Accrual Frequency' but it doesn't have the option for 12 months rolling accrual.  Is there a way to set this up?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

You can set up Accrual frequency Annually. That means the accrual will occur for 12 months period, that's equal to 1 year.

If you have any further questions please let me know.

    Thank you!

    Hi Svetlana,

Thanks for your response.  We are looking for a rolling year calculation which is the normal way of calculating sick leave in the UK and in many other countries.

A rolling year is the year immediately preceding the start of a period of sickness. For example if sickness absence commenced on 4 September 2021 then sickness entitlement is calculated on the amount of sickness absence taken since 4 September 2020.

Do you know if it is possible to calculate in this way?

    Thanks,

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

    Thanks for your question!

For your scenario I would suggest to create a leave plan with Accrual period basis = Employee-specific date and then once sickness absence commenced to assign that plan to the employee with Enrollment date = sickness start date.

Please test this suggestion and let me know if it helps.

    Thank you!

    Good day,

I would like to know if it is possible to have sick leaves by cycle?

For example, my company gives 30 days each 3 years. Do you know if we can set it up like this?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    Thanks for the question!

Unfortunately, we do not have 3 year frequency out of the box at the moment, maximum is 1 year.

There is an idea already suggested that you can vote for on Ideas portal: Microsoft Idea  Â· Leave Cycle and accruals (dynamics.com)

    Thank you!
