Life Cycle Services - adding new users

We seem to have continued issues with adding users to LCS projects….

When I try to add this customer user to a project, I set them up as a project contributor using the email associate with his Live ID.

He received the LCS email and logged into LCS and accepted the project.

When he looks at his project list, we doesn’t see the project he just added..

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Lorna,

Can you explain the situation a bit more? Are you also associated with a customer and want to add a collegue?

You have added the person to a certain project. Is he creating additional projects? And you can't see his created projects?

When he is creating new projects, he has to invite other people to his projects.

    Please provide more details.

    Hi Andre,

I am an employee of a VAR.  Someone in my organization setup a project and invited me and a person who is outside of the organization.

Both of us accepted the email invitation to join the project and when I logged into LCS, I have a notification in one of the boxes on the screen to add the new project.  I added the new project and can access the new project.

The user from outside the organization can log into LCS and does not see the project.  He has access to other projects.  His user ID show as ‘accepted’ in the project he cannot see (when I log in and look at the project user).  I’ve changed his role to project owner – originally he was project contributor.

We send the invitation to the same email address that he uses with his LIVE id /customersource access.

This MAY have been a project that was copied from another existing project.

This issue is inconsistent, so I must be doing something wrong….  Can you tell from this description of a step that I should not take?
