Hi NMK,
After internal discussion it seems that you have surfaced a bug on our App module. The team has opened it and is currently tracking for a fix in the March update.
Thank you for your patience in getting this answer.

Thank Megan,
Actually, we have built up a new system for a client where they are tracking volunteers, donations, sponshorship, events management, makerting automation etc.
In order for this to consume by the users, we have created a new UCI app with all custom components. Since marketing needs to be part of this new app, I have added all the marketing components to the new app and customize the sitemap to include just email marketing features e.g. customer journey, segments and marketing emails along with custom entities. However, when I accesss marketing email from the new app, it gives the error as shown in my original post.
Initially, I thought this might have happened because of any required components I had missed to include in the new app. So, I tested this by creating a completely new app which was based just on marketing solution (so i can't miss any components) but I still had the same error.
In summary, we would like to deliver a single appto the user containing custom and marketing components so that they don't have to switch applications.
Thanks
Hi NMK,
The team came back and asked if I could get some further information on your question. Could you please provide details of what you are trying to accomplish with the app? Business scenarios would be particularly helpful for us to provide a response.
Thanks,
Megan
Thanks Megan!
Hi NMK,
Thanks for the clarification. I'm not sure if it is supported or not. I've reached out to our architect and PMs to find out, so we'll let you know.
Thanks,
Megan
Hi,
When you create a new app, it has an option to base it on an existing solution. By doing this, it brings all the components for that solution inside the app (as shown in the pic).

I basically wants to create a new app which should contain all marketing components along with custom entities, so my client should see a single view.
Hi NMK,
Can you please clarify what you mean that you "created a new app with the Dynamics 365 for marketing solution?"
Thanks,
Megan
