I got error "Reference to the member Average Cost of the variable could not be solved." during data upgrade 2009 to 2015.
I found out that there is function .. in codeunit "Upgrade Nav Old Version" which refer to a filed "Average Cost" of Table "Lifo Band" which is not actually present in the table . There is one similar field "year average cost". Should I change the code in upgrade codeunit.

Don't change the Upgrade Codeunit. You can check it like -
1. Upgrade Codeunit is from 2009 R2 to 2015.
2. Your database may be 2009 or 2009 SP1.
3. If you are sure that the field that you are referring are same then you can change.
4. Otherwise you can comment that line in the upgrade codeunit.
But before changing anything make sure that you are sure about what you are changing.
