conversion between pcs to kg does not exist for product

Hi ,

There is an item which has inventory transactions .

The while receiving the purchase order ,getting an error conversion between pcs to kg does not exist for product.

tried changing the unit of the product . but it is not allowing because of inventory transactions .

please suggest how to receive this item?

Hi shuhaib, Please check in the Organisation admin module (Setup / Units / unit conversion) whether you have setup a conversion between units and kg. Hope it helps, Ludwig

Check the UOM on the purchase line - it is KG/pcs with the inventory UOM being the other. You have not told AX how to convert.

From the released product go to Product Aciton tab and the Setup section where you have UOM conversions - set it there for the item.

Same here between Unit and meters. You can't set conversion, because it's bases units.

My products are ok all units have been check, and I can't release in the warehouse because of this message. It works in our test environment, not in prod.

If you solve your issue I'm interesting to read how.

Hi Benoit,

I don't understand why you can't set a unit conversion between 'Unit' and 'Meters'. Do you get an error when you try?

I just set 'ea' and 'm' as base units in a test system, and was able to create an 'Inter-class' unit conversion for an item.

I found why for me, standard workforce was setup with Unit....

I had already checked wave and work setup to be sure we didn't do this kind of things...

But ok.
