How to add new column in reports by object designer in nav?

    Hi,

    To add a new column in the report dataset go to to position where you want to add and press F3 then 
    - Go View -> Field Menu

    - Double click on the field you want to add.

    Else After pressing F3 go to  View -> C/AL Symbol Menu and select what you want add as a Data Source of the column. It could be a variable, function or value from the Parent Data Source.

    Have a look at the picture below, it will give you a fair idea.

    You need to open the layout first then only you can add new column.

    Design the report and view the layout.
