Hello Community

I am trying to install "Dynamics 365 Marketing Application NonProd" from Power-Platform Admin portal and i get this error message..

"You must have read/write access for the selected organization to set up this application."

I have the role "Dynamics 365 Administrator" in Azure.

Appreciate any tips in this regard.

    Hi partner,

Please check in admin center that you have the sysadmin security role.

I'm not sure if the roles in azure are universal, if you don't have the security role of sysadmin, you need to contact your organization's sysadmin to assign you the following two security roles.

    power apps ->settings ->admin center

    Hi Leco Lv

    Thank you for the reply.

forgot to mention that i already have Sys-Admin role in the respective Power-Platform environment.

Based on your feedback, assigned myself Marketing Manager and Professional roles, but the issue still persists.

In Azure, i have the role of "Dynamics 365 Administrator".

In Power-Paltform environment, i have the roles: Marketing Manager, Marketing Professional, System Administrator.

    But the issue still persists.

    Regards

    Santosh Artham

    Hi Santosh,

this may be something you have already checked but have to throw it out as 90% of the time ends up being the issue when someone gets to a support agent, when you are logged into the app, can you check the upper right corner user icon and be sure you are logged in as the account which has the system admin and application admin role? Often times people get logged in with the wrong account and don't realize. I know it's probably something you've already checked but worth an ask.

If that doesn't work, please file a support ticket to have us look at your tenant. We will want to make sure you have an available, non-configured, Marketing license and we'll check the entitlement types you have etc.

    Hi partner,

I think it's weird if you have the sysadmin role. As another partner said, make sure you're using the correct account. If the problem persists you need to open a ticket with Microsoft Teams.

this is resolved after my account was assigned Power Apps Per user license.

    Thank you.
