    EMPmaster.RESET;

    EMPmaster.SETFILTER(EMPmaster."No.","No.");

    IF EMPmaster.FINDFIRST THEN BEGIN

    Dep :=EMPmaster."Department Assigned";

    EMPmaster."Transfer Date" := TODAY;

    EMPmaster.MODIFY;

    END;

    Is No. is the Primary Key of EMPmaster Table, if you can use Get if EMPmaster.GET("No.") THEN BEGIN;

    and could you explain us it does not get filter properly means?

    If filter in primary key, table will get filter. if filter in any other field it does not get filter at all.

    Check if the table contain any special characters since data is been transferred from third party application.

    Your code seems ok and it might be a issue in the table. Export your table object, Drop the table and import and compile the object.

    After that restart the Microsoft Dynamics NAV instance and try.

    Thank you for the advice, I tried it, but did not work, still have problem in filter. I tried with another table and filters work fine in that. Problem is only with this table.

    Hi,

    can you run select * from [Tablename] in SQL Server Management and Copy the Rows generated as output in a Excel File.

    It Seems to me that your Excel File Will not be same as it seems as Output in Sql Server Management Studio.

    Just try the same and share the screenshot of the Excel File generated after copying rows from SQL.

    Fond the issue! In some column there were NULL values and that cause the issue.
