I want to get the total amount of the invoice so I can convert it into words. I am unable to get the correct value of TotalAmount since its giving me only the value of the last sales line amount. is there a way to get the total value?

Hi,

Open the layout of Report 206, Sales - Invoice to check how it has been handled to the SUM the Sales Lines in standard.

In the Sales Header, there is a FlowField which SUM the corresponding Sales Lines. You can use it as per in standard system.

Check Table 36, field 61 - Amount Including VAT.

You can implement same as this.

Check Report 1401 - Check for Amount in words.

Use Sales Invoice line as variable, apply proper filter on it and use calcsums to get the total value of that particular document.

In the standard sales invoice report the variable TotalAmount holds the Total Amount of the invoice. What is the expression you are using to get the sales line amount ? Use TotalAmount or TotalSubTotal.
