Hi

When running a planning worksheet we get this error for an item. We dont use transfer routes

When Show IS selected on this error the below is displayed:

'is not a valid position specification for the Transfer Route table. The position must contain all the primary key fields, in order, and only primary key fields'

Appreciate any assistance

Thanks
I have the same question (0)

Open your Stockkeeping Units list and filter by "Replenishment System" = "Transfer".  All of those SKUs will require a Transfer Route to be defined before the Planning Worksheet can suggest lines for them.

If a Transfer Route is defined on the SKU, drill into the Route and ensure all the proper carrier information defined.

If you aren't transferring inventory, then you need to update those SKUs to a different Replenishment System.

    Hi,

The option is usually controlled at the Stockkeeping Unit (SKU) level.

When planning suggests a transfer, it looks at the Replenishment System and Transfer-from Code defined on the SKU.
If the SKU has Replenishment System = Transfer and a Transfer-from Location, the system expects a valid transfer route between the two locations.
    Try:
    > Open the SKU for the item and location combination.
    > If you don’t want transfers, change Replenishment System to Purchase or Prod. Order.
    > If transfers are required, create a Transfer Route for the locations.

    Thanks

You mentioned your Replenishment System is Assembly.  Is that on the Item Card or the Stockkeeping Unit Card?  The Planning Worksheet is looking at the Stockkeeping Unit Card if it exists for that Item/Location combination.  Please verify your Stockkeeping Unit is set to something other than Transfer.

On the Planning Tab of the Item Card, there is a field "Stockkeeping Units Exist" (Yes/No).  If it says Yes, click on the word Yes to open the list of Stockkeeping Unit cards for that Item.  Look through them, specifically for the Locations mentioned above to determine if you have one with a Replenishment System of Transfer.

Isolate the item that triggers the error. Check whether it’s an assembled item with Replenishment System = Assembly. Perhaps this item is a component.

    Hi,

If your SKU is set to Assembly, then the error about Transfer Routes is unexpected because planning should not look for transfers unless something in the setup triggers it.

Can you check whether the location setup is Require Shipment” or “Require Receive” enabled with In-Transit Location defined? That might trigger transfer logic (not sure).

If you selected multiple locations, planning might try to balance stock between them.

Does the item have multiple SKUs for different locations? If yes, check if one of them has Replenishment System = Transfer or a Transfer-from Location defined.

    Thanks
