Payment advice report is opening as empty (No record data found)

Hi Guys,

When I open the payment advice report it is showing as "No record data is found".

It is opening as empty report.

I have done ssrs services restart and IIS restart but nothing works.

The report was working fine few days before.

This issue started when I made small customization.

I have added two extra fields in the payment advice reports dataset, after that only whenever I open the report it is opening as empty, but I did "undo"  changes in team explorer- (pending changes) and even that is also not working.

How to resolve this ,please help me to solve this.

    Can you explain with more details about your "undo" action? Did you build and deploy the report after the "undo"?

    In team explorer my changes will be in reflected in the pending changes there I select it right click and select undo option .                                          

    Yes after I undo the change I have deployed and build the reports once again.

    Well.

    Can you please try to generate the payment files from a vendor payment journal.

    In this journal you select your payments and then make use of the 'generate payment' button/function.

    When doing that you can specify that you want to have the payment advice report printed.

    This should fill the data.

    Simply running the report should give you a blank report.

    Please try the 'standard' way of generating it via the vendor payment journal.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Can we not print the report on screen, after the payment is generated and the journal is posted ? The print -> payment advice option is showing, so I assume, the report should be showing the data from the journal lines, but this is not happening. 

    This doesn't make sense, if the button is enabled.

    Hello Jenifer,
    You need to have a doc/invoice settled with the payment to have data for the payment advice.
    Do you have a transaction settled against the payment that you are generating the payment advice for?
