Adjust standard cost for the finished product

Suppose i use the standard cost for my manufacturing product, In the middle of the month we sold some of them use the standard cost.

At the end of the month we have some additional cost which makes us to adjust the standard cost.(Salary, expense , etc)

1. Is it possible for me to adjust the standard cost at the end of month and how ?

2. Will the sales order cost be re-valuated ?

    That sort of contradicts the point of standard cost, that you get additional non-accounted for costs at the end of the month.

    You can't really adjust it, you can only activate a new one, that will be applied from today onwards. Inventory on hand and WIP will be re-valuated. Issues sales orders will not.

    Hi Ivan

    Is there any other way that i can fix the problem, i have to adjust the cost for the finished product by the end of month, hopefully the sales order cost can be adjusted as well.
